Traversi, M.B.A., J.D. about his book The Source of Leadership: Eight Drivers of the High-impact Leader published by New Harbinger Publications.David M. Traversi (48) is currently a Managing Director of 2020 Growth Partners, LLC. 2020 provides executive coaching, strategic advisory, and merchant banking services to private and public growth companies in a wide variety of industries across the U.S. He is also the author of The Source of Leadership: Eight Drivers of the High-Impact Leader (New Harbinger Publications, 2007). He is a frequent speaker on leadership. Previously, from 2000 to 2002, Mr. Traversi was the Co-founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of PRE Solutions, Inc., which founded and built the nation’s largest electronic processor of prepaid telecom products. Prior to PRE Solutions, from 1997 to 1999, Mr. Traversi was President of Sirrom Capital Corporation, an NYSE-listed financial services and investment firm. Prior to Sirrom, from 1989 to 1996, he was a General Partner and Managing Director in the Corporate Finance Department of Montgomery Securities (now Banc of America Securities LLC), the nation’s premier investment bank serving growth businesses in the 1990s. Mr. Traversi is also a Co-founder, and previously served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Financial Officer, of Sensor Platforms, Inc., fabless semi-conductor company serving the sensor industry. He has served on the boards of directors of a number of public
and private companies, and has also practiced as a business lawyer. Mr. Traversi
is also an accomplished painter of abstracts and writer. Mr. Traversi has a B.S.
degree in Business Administration and Finance from California State University,
Chico; an M.B.A. degree from Haas School of Business, University of California,
