Tue, 30 September 2008  Dr. Lara Honos-Webb, host of The Sweet Spot podcast, interviews Dr. Bernie S. Siegel, author of Buddy's Candle published by Trafford Publishing. Dr. Siegel, who prefers to be called Bernie, was born in Brooklyn, NY. He attended Colgate University and Cornell University Medical College where he graduated with honors. His surgical training took place at Yale New Haven Hospital, West Haven Veteran's Hospital, and the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. He is a former president of the American Holistic Medicine Association. In 1989 he retired from the practice of general and pediatric surgery to travel around the world, speaking to patients and their caregivers. His book, Buddy's Candle is available now.
